After Sri Lanka, the Philippine Azkals is set to face Kuwait in the 2nd round of the World Cup qualifying rounds on a home and away game.
Their first match will happen on July 23 in Kuwait at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium. While the Azkals home game against Kuwait will be on July 28 still at the Rizal Memorial Stadium as announced by Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) Chairman and Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Advisory Council member Monico Puentevella.
A win against Kuwait will give the nationals a next round ticket for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
The Philippine Azkals is currently at 159 in FIFA world ranking, while Kuwait ranked at 102.
